The Morning Miracle

The Morning Miracle is one of the books I always kept in my reading list. I recently have the opportunity to read it. Well; it didn’t took me too much time and actually I have finished my reading in less than a week. The book was so good and I was happy to read it. I loved the ideas and the stories the writer provided in this book, I loved the writer’s approaches to introduce a simple way into a life changing result.

The morning that was shown by him as the best time for whomever wants to change his life and make a significant procedure. In the Miracle Morning Hal Elrod, tries to show us how he has turned his disability and brain damage caused by a car accident, into a life full of success. And if he did it, I think everybody can do it. We just need the courage to stop our bad morning attitudes; get rid of the idea that it’s hard to wake up early in the morning (I’m not a morning person, I can’t focus in the morning…ect). all those are excuses and they are one of the reasons that always keep us behind.

The key here, is we need to change the way we look at things, change the way we do things and more importantly we’ve got to change our morning routine and our ideas about sleep. Yes, I agree that sleep is an important factor to wake up fresh and relaxed, but we can manage to organize our sleeping hours if we want. And there are so many ways to do so. For instance, before bed time, remind yourself that you will wake up in the morning feeling active and refreshed. You might as well place your alarm clock away from the side of your bed, so that you don’t just stop it in the morning and go back to sleep. To feel refreshed and start your day; the best way, before doing anything else in your morning start with a good shower and brush your teeth. This way you will feel that you are ready to start your day.

Don’t rush yourself, and to be more effective, you might try to make your to do list the night before. So that you have clear objectives for your morning and you can manage to finish all your tasks. And don’t worry if you don’t finish all the tasks you have, try the other day and the next day until you have this attitude of having a productive morning everyday. When you get used to this amazing routine, believe me you will achieve a lot of things and you will develop so many aspects of your life. And the best thing, you will no longer need an alarm, because later you will wake up by yourself. Isn’t that beautiful??

Adopting new and productive habits may be so challenging for so many of us. Getting into a new schedule might be hard and overwhelming at first, but we always just need that beginning, I believe that the hardest part is the start. But as long as you start, you will certainly manage to finish whatever you have started.

Well, I guess those are the main points of this book, and I have tried them all myself. And to be honest, I fall in love with the morning routine. It really feels good to wake up early in the morning when everybody is sleeping, profit from the calm and peaceful atmosphere to pray, meditate, practice gratitude, drink your cup of coffee, workout  and do every possible thing you like before you get to the hard work and finish all you tasks for the day.
